Live Build Pipeline

Push code, builds ship automatically, server auto-deploys

What: Three phases built over a weekend. PowerShell scripts wrapping Unreal's build tool for automated cooking and packaging, both client and dedicated server in Shipping and Development configs. GitHub Actions workflow triggers on every push to main: builds both configs, zips the output, uploads to S3 with git SHA versioning plus a 'latest' symlink, then posts download URLs in the build summary so playtesters can grab the latest build immediately. Phase 3 is the server deploy. After the server build uploads, the workflow sends a deploy script to the EC2 instance via AWS Systems Manager. It downloads and extracts the new build to a staging directory while the current server keeps running. Then: stop the service, swap directories, start the service. Downtime is measured in seconds rather than minutes.

Why: Push code, walk away. A bug reported on Friday can be a fix that is playable on Saturday.
