Around the Wall

Tuck, flank, peek and fire.

What: Both players have each other targeted. One hides in cover against a long wall. The player who is out of cover runs below the wall, exposing the hidden player and breaking their cover. That puts them both at even odds. The open player then goes up and around the far end of the wall, so they lose sight of each other. Their targets grey out but stay selected, and the player in cover automatically tucks back in. Then the open player takes cover at the far end of the wall and peeks out. Because they're in cover and peeking, they have a brief moment to take a flank shot before the other player responds. The flank kills the cover bonus, bumps hit and crit chance, and since they're in cover too, they get a defensive bonus while peeking.

Why: Cover is about movement and positioning, gaining small advantages to tilt combat in your favor. In a game like this, tactical thinking should pay off.
